Director of Development
As the Director of Development for RM Development Group, Shane Dauberger helps clients expand their portfolios all across the South and Southeast. Shane has worked for, and with, several large retailers to expand locations and leverage deals. His professional experience has helped him develop into the ideal director for RM.
Prior to joining the RM team, Shane was the VP of Real Estate at FFO Home, a top 100 furniture retailer. In his role at FFO, Shane established annual growth objectives and financial parameters for the entire store pipeline and structured the new store opening schedule to maximize sales of new stores with a concentration of seasonality.
Shane also worked for over a decade as a Director of Real Estate and Senior Real Estate manager at Dollar General, Inc. During his tenure at Dollar General, Shane worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and COO to develop, create, and implement the company growth strategy. Additionally, he achieved 20% growth year over year and managed all aspects of the development pipeline, from site selection to exit strategies. Shane’s unique experience within, and perspective on retail clients’ objectives and needs makes him an excellent partner for RM’s clients.
“I met the Roziers in 2006, when I worked on the retail side of this industry,” Dauberger said. “We developed a longstanding relationship that turned into a working relationship in 2020,” Shane said. “Since then, I’ve been honored to partner with them to help provide for our retail clients.”
Shane received his BBA in Logistics Marketing, with a minor in Business Management from the University of Memphis. He has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2004.
